Nari Maitree Urban Green Graduation Programme has celebrated World Humanitarian Day 2023 with its programme participants at the different project intervention areas of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
World Humanitarian Day has been celebrating around the world on August 19th every year under the guidance of the United Nations. The day is celebrated around the world with great respect for those who have sacrificed themselves, who have vowed to serve humanity, who have sacrificed their lives for the welfare of humanity, for the betterment of humanity, according to the declaration of the United Nations.
Nari Maitree celebrated the day at 3 core working zone of its UGGP programme where Khilgaon, Hazaribag & Lalbag, areas were included. In total, 150 Programme participants, Change Makers, group leaders of the Self-help group has participated in the rally & discussion for those who serve for the humanity for the betterment of the society. With the observation of the World Humanitarian Day awareness building process about the project, about the day, and the humanitarian perspectives of the society has also promoted.
