| Social Mobilization: |

Social Mobilization is one of the major components of NM,s program that follows scientific method by using Information and Communication (IC) Campaign, mass gathering, Courtyard Meeting, Group discussion, FGDs, using BCC/IEC Materials like posters, leaflets, book lets etc. Enthusing assessment matrices for selection process, Social resource mapping, PRA practices for appraisal and Community Action Plan (CAP) through which motivation and participation of the community people is ensured. In these projects huge community mobilization work has been accomplished with very systematic manner.

| Kaishore Porishod (KP): |
| |
KP stands for Kaishore Porishod (KP). KP is an adolescent organization under adolescent development program of Nari Maitree. Local disadvantaged adolescents are getting development opportunity through participation in the KP and contribute in solving local problem and development. KP has been operating with 153 adolescents, among them 69 boys and 84 girls all members of KP elect general committees, executive committee and six subcommittees through voting. Every committee has regular monthly, weekly emergency and annual meeting. They discuss their problem issues as well as community's problem in this meeting, make solution. Field supervisor assigned for facilitation, observation and monitor their activities.

| Social Change Agent (SCA) : |

Social change agents (SCA) are those who play a significant and active role on any social actions in their respective community against all kind of social vices and participate in different development interventions in an organized form. Under Adolescent development Project of Nari Maitree, 20 adolescents are volunteering to bring a positive change in the society through utilizing local resource. These activities are like to end violence against women, anti drug campaign, dowry and early marriage, prevention of HIV-AIDS among young people through organizing different day observation, sharing meeting with local people, rapport building with public representatives. They are also organizing different IGA program for the poor family in the working area of NM. The forum is also contributing to develop their environment by promoting sanitary latrine , |

Child Forum: |

|
Working many years with children, NM felt that there should be a space and platform for the children where they could deal with different child related issues, express their feelings and opinion's, show their potential and acquire leadership quality and sort out problems in a united way, From this view, NM facilitated their targeted children to form a child forum in their working area for the betterment of children. |

| There are 830 members of child forum, it has an elected committee, which consists of 11 members and all the children of child forum are street and working children's in the working areas of NM. Child forum has developed different child groups to ensure participation in decision making process of project activities. These groups are: child monitoring team, Theatre for Development (TfD), Drama and Puppet team and Trainer's team. |

| Change Maker: |
| |
Change makers are the common people who want change and take visible stand against domestic violence and challenges the traditional behavior of discrimination on sex, questions their own behavior first on violence on women and influence to other people to take stand against violence. Change makers do not wait for others cooperation against violence on women rather than take initiative on their own. Change makers are doing work solely, institutionally and jointly. |

Change makers committed themselves not only to believe the existence of violence to women in family to everywhere but also take a very strong stand against violence against women. Change makers are in a very transparent position conceptually on domestic violence with other social phenomena. |

| Taking this spirit into account, NM has developed 45,295 change makers at 45 no. wards of Dhaka Metropolitan City through implementing the Community mobilization to end the violence against women (CVAW) project with the assistance of Oxfam Bangladesh. |
