Advocacy and lobbying on different is one of the core interventions of Nari Maitree. NM has been playing an effective role on different issues through advocacy and lobbying in different issues like Adolescent reproductive right, violence against women, women and child trafficking, birth registration, child labour etc, involving itself in different networking and alliance bodies and forums like We Can alliance, Durber Network, DAWN forum, Girl child forum, Together with children, Coalition for the Urban poor (CUP), HIV & STD alliance, ATSEC Bangladesh Chapter and BSAF etc. It also organizes different advocacy activities such as, national, regional and district level seminars. Workshops dialogue with local government, involving honorable parliament members, different level of Govt. / NGO Officials media campaign, arrange fairs, observance of national days, rally, human chain, youth camps for awareness raising on different social and right based issues involving local community leaders and elected representatives at the Union and ward commissioners.
